What is Autobyline, in one sentence?
An AI newsroom for WordPress sites — it watches real-time trends, drafts articles in your voice, generates featured images, and publishes to your sites on a schedule.
Do I need WordPress to use Autobyline?
No. You can use Autobyline as a standalone article generator and copy/paste the output anywhere. But auto-publish currently targets WordPress only. Webhook integration is on the roadmap.
How do credits work?
Each article costs 3 credits, each AI image costs 15 credits. A Pro plan ($40/month) gives you 2,000 credits — roughly 666 articles or a mix of articles plus images. Unused credits don't roll over from subscriptions, but Credit Pack credits never expire.
Which countries are supported for real-time trends?
US and UK at launch. Germany, France, Japan, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands are on the roadmap (rolling out in the months after launch). You can override the country per AI journalist.
What about quality? Will the articles read like AI?
We use Gemini 2.0 Flash with role-specific prompts (Professional Journalist, Tech Futurist, etc.) and AP Stylebook conventions. We also enforce sentence-variety rules to avoid the rhythmic monotony common to AI text. That said, AI is a draft tool — a human editor in the loop is recommended.
How does billing work? Any hidden fees?
Payments are processed by Polar.sh — a Merchant of Record. They handle global sales tax / VAT automatically, so the price you see includes everything for your jurisdiction. We bill in USD. Cancel anytime; 60-day refund window.
Is my data GDPR/CCPA compliant?
Yes. We collect minimal personal data (email + name + optional billing). EU data processing relies on Polar.sh's Merchant of Record status. You can request data export or deletion at any time through Settings → Account.
What's on the roadmap?
