Pre-publish checks
As you write in the Write article editor, Autobyline checks headline length, a missing summary, a short body, images without alt text, and leftover placeholder text. A standard article costs 3 credits and an AI image 15 credits; press-release conversions cost 20 and YouTube video conversions 50. Charts, writing your own articles, and the desk tools are free. A Pro plan ($40/month) gives you 2,000 credits — roughly 666 articles or a mix of articles plus images. Unused credits don't roll over from subscriptions, but Credit Pack credits never expire.
Yes. Invite your team and give each person an editorial rank, from Trainee to Publisher. Reporters write their own stories and submit them to the desk; desk editors and above review, approve, or send them back, pick up drafts from your AI journalists, and send approved stories to WordPress or your webhook. Stories written in the editor get a pre-publish checklist, and saved edits are kept in a revision history. These tools are included in every plan and don't use credits.
